Still doing great!

Hailey did get strep a second time, but is doing well now! 

Ben had s trip to New York last week for the whole week and a grueling class for work the week before, so it has been crazy trying to keep up with things. 

I had to share a meat experience. A couple of weeks ago we had a miscommunication with the night nurse coordinator so we ended up having a babysitter for Abby and Katelyn but no one to watch Hailey. We were trying to pick a restaurant that wouldn't be too crowded because of germs--we decided on Shari's and we took Hailey with us. We had just gotten Hailey's new stroller/wheelchair so it was a good chance to test it out. 

After we ate dinner the waitress told us that someone has put $19 toward our meal. We were stunned and very surprised. Whoever it was certainly made our night. It never ceases to amaze me to see so much good in people--it inspires me! 

Hailey is being so cute these days. We are teaching her sign language since it will be a while before she can talk a lot over the Trach, although she sure says "Dada" just fine! She knows quite a few, but lately she has been adamant about asking for Daddy. She gives hugs, blows kisses, plays dolls and kitchen. She even Lars my back when I give her a hug. She is super smart! She is just a joy!!!!
