Hailey is still hanging in there!

Hailey has still been pretty stuffy and wheezy since we got home, but she is holding her own! This morning I took her in to the ER because she kept throwing up and I had to turn the oxygen up to 2 liters to keep her oxygen saturations high enough. But, she kept coughing and cleared what the doctor feels was probably a mucous plug. I'm SO grateful that she looks better now and isn't being admitted! 

I actually had to take her to the ER yesterday because I accidentally pulled her GJ tube out when I went to put her in her crib. I was worried that we would have to go to Salt Lake to get another one placed, but they had an Interventional Radiologist here who was able to pull it off. So lots of blessings the last couple of days. 

We are so glad to be home! I love January because it always makes me want to de-junk my house and organize my life!!! Hooray for new beginnings!! 

We are hoping for a great new year with Hailey! 

We really did have a wonderful time at Christmas and want to thank everyone who made our Christmas so special this year. Abby's school gave us some wonderful presents and we got an anonymous box of goodies just before we left as well. I will never cease to be amazed by people's kindness and goodness. We feel so blessed.

Home Sweet Home!!!

We made it! I feel so happy to be home! I have loved the nice weather in California so I wondered if I would feel happy when I saw the snow, but at the first glimpse of the snowy mountains flying into Utah I wanted to cry for joy!   It was, of course, an adventure getting home, but I decided to pack my sense of humor from the get-go and it turned out great thanks, again, to many angels!  I checked out of the hospital with Hailey on Thursday around 4:30pm. It was so strange to get to take her with me. I made a little sign for her car seat to travel with so we could try to stay healthy on the trip :-) By the time I had packed and cleaned and figured out how to give Hailey her new medicines (she has 10 now that we give 8 times a day between various dosing schedules) I had about 40 minutes to sleep before my 3:20am shuttle pickup.  I started wheeling my bags and Hailey and the oxygen downstairs. Day 24 Headed Home

Yay!!! We get to leave for home today!! We are all going to drive together.  The last few weeks have been so full of miracles and we are so happy to be together!! I can't believe we get to go home together!!! I wanted to post some pictures of Hailey leaving the hospital. It was so cute. Hailey was holding the string of a balloon the girls gave her and she wasn't letting go for anything!!
