Hailey's hearing test

Yesterday ended up being an emotional day. I had to take Hailey in to get her hearing tested because she has been on antibiotics. Antibiotics are known to cause hearing loss in babies which is why they normally don't use them for babies. 

I hadn't been overly concerned about the test because Hailey responds to her name, tries to mimic our sounds etc. To my shock and dismay she didn't pass the screening on either ear. We are going back at the beginning of April to have a more accurate test that will tell us how much hearing loss she has and whether or not it is permanent. 

It is hard to think of her having yet another hurdle to overcome in her life. We would appreciate your prayers on her behalf. Hopefully the test was just not sensitive enough and she will be fine. The doctor told us that it will be a much more accurate and definitive test.
