Hailey is doing well
Well our little cutie continues to improve day by day. We are pretty busy with all of her therapy and doctors appointments. We are already working on getting details ironed out for the next trip to California.
We are trying to have a g-tube placed ASAP so that we don't get too close to her other surgery. We did a swallow study last Thursday and it showed that the narrow place in her esophagus is still there so now we need to get another CT scan done before surgery so they can fix whatever might be pressing on it. She officially will never take a bottle since that study proved she is still not safe to eat orally and her next surgery will be done fairly close to her birthday.
I was really sad about that, but at least we were able to get a conclusive swallow study thanks to our FABULOUS speech pathologist. That really helps iron things out. I am taking Hailey down to SLC later this month for testing to see if she will need a Nissen or not, so we will see how that goes.
Hailey gets cuter every day. She smiles and laughs and seems to be teething. She is on kind of a weird sleep schedule, which we really need to change. She falls asleep around 6 PM, cries whenever the binkie falls out and then wants to wake up at 5:30 am. We are working on changing it. Hopefully it works soon!
