Day 4

Guess what!!! We get to go home!!! I am SO relieved!!! They decided not to drain the incision after all and then it drained on it's own which is kind of the best case scenario!!! 

I'm so glad!!! We are thrilled to get to go home again!!  

Ben went in and found out he has bronchitis and that's why he wasn't getting better. Now he is getting medicine for that so he will feel better too!

I'm so excited and so grateful!! We are still trying to get Hailey completely off oxygen, but I'm just excited to go home!!

    I am sorry to hear you had a rough weekend, I am glad you get to come home! Please let me know if I can help with anything! I have lots of time when my boys are at school. I hope Hailey and Ben get feeling better soon!

Home Sweet Home!!!

We made it! I feel so happy to be home! I have loved the nice weather in California so I wondered if I would feel happy when I saw the snow, but at the first glimpse of the snowy mountains flying into Utah I wanted to cry for joy!   It was, of course, an adventure getting home, but I decided to pack my sense of humor from the get-go and it turned out great thanks, again, to many angels!  I checked out of the hospital with Hailey on Thursday around 4:30pm. It was so strange to get to take her with me. I made a little sign for her car seat to travel with so we could try to stay healthy on the trip :-) By the time I had packed and cleaned and figured out how to give Hailey her new medicines (she has 10 now that we give 8 times a day between various dosing schedules) I had about 40 minutes to sleep before my 3:20am shuttle pickup.  I started wheeling my bags and Hailey and the oxygen downstairs. Day 24 Headed Home

Yay!!! We get to leave for home today!! We are all going to drive together.  The last few weeks have been so full of miracles and we are so happy to be together!! I can't believe we get to go home together!!! I wanted to post some pictures of Hailey leaving the hospital. It was so cute. Hailey was holding the string of a balloon the girls gave her and she wasn't letting go for anything!!
