Update

So it looks a little better today. She is really constipated so they are working that out and they are going to take care of the gtube leaking while we are here too. They think the infection is superficial but they may try to drain it under sedation tomorrow if it doesn't look significantly better by then. If they don't need to drain it we could probably go home tomorrow. If they do drain it it would be Monday. 

She has also been needing just a bit of oxygen today and seeming kind of tired so they are wondering if she has a cold. They took a swab of her nose, but we haven't gotten results yet. 

I am still hoping we will get the go-ahead to come home tomorrow but it is seeming more like that may not happen. 

We spent the day together in Hailey's room watching LDS General conference. That was a nice break getting to be together so much with Hailey in the hospital but she is on the 3rd floor--not in the ICU so that is good. 

We were able to get a room at the Tonald McDonald House. I stayed overnight at the hospital with Hailey and Ben had the girls. 

It is sounding like the infection seems to be superficial but only time will tell. We just keep praying this will be a short visit!
