Day 62 GOING HOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Woohoooo!!!!!!!!!! WE'RE GOING HOME!!!!!!!!!! It's official! My flight is booked. Hailey will be discharged today and we are heading out on an early flight Friday and should be home by Friday night!!!!  If anyone is California sees a ridiculously happy person tap dancing out of the hospital, it's me!!

After 70 days in California we are coming home! I feel like this is a huge miracle!!! I am so grateful for all the prayers and love on our behalf!!

    Yay Angie! I'm so happy you're going home and can be with your family again! You are so amazingly strong and I'm so inspired by you, your strength and your faith. We are praying for you guys. If you need a place to stay tomorrow night, you're always welcome.

Home Sweet Home!!!

We made it! I feel so happy to be home! I have loved the nice weather in California so I wondered if I would feel happy when I saw the snow, but at the first glimpse of the snowy mountains flying into Utah I wanted to cry for joy!   It was, of course, an adventure getting home, but I decided to pack my sense of humor from the get-go and it turned out great thanks, again, to many angels!  I checked out of the hospital with Hailey on Thursday around 4:30pm. It was so strange to get to take her with me. I made a little sign for her car seat to travel with so we could try to stay healthy on the trip :-) By the time I had packed and cleaned and figured out how to give Hailey her new medicines (she has 10 now that we give 8 times a day between various dosing schedules) I had about 40 minutes to sleep before my 3:20am shuttle pickup.  I started wheeling my bags and Hailey and the oxygen downstairs. Day 24 Headed Home

Yay!!! We get to leave for home today!! We are all going to drive together.  The last few weeks have been so full of miracles and we are so happy to be together!! I can't believe we get to go home together!!! I wanted to post some pictures of Hailey leaving the hospital. It was so cute. Hailey was holding the string of a balloon the girls gave her and she wasn't letting go for anything!!
