Update

So Hailey is doing a little better today. They tell us that she is still very sick. I miss my sweet smiling little Hailey. 

I am guessing we are on a long road back. I don't know yet how this will affect her having heart surgery.

    Angie, this is Lindsay (Fowler) Mott. I've been reading your posts about Hailey, and I just wanted you to know that your family is in our prayers. It must be so hard as a mother to see your child go through so many challenges. You are a wonderful example of putting your trust in the Lord. We are praying that Hailey will steadily improve in her health. She is such a sweet girl. Hopefully we'll see more pictures of her smiling soon!

    Angie, I know you don't know me, but I have been following your story. Heather and Jordan are my brother and sister in law, and I also worked in the corn fields with your brother and sister. I just want you to know that I am praying for your family and especially your baby girl. From a mom to a mom, so many hugs and prayers. God be with you!

Home Sweet Home!!!

We made it! I feel so happy to be home! I have loved the nice weather in California so I wondered if I would feel happy when I saw the snow, but at the first glimpse of the snowy mountains flying into Utah I wanted to cry for joy!   It was, of course, an adventure getting home, but I decided to pack my sense of humor from the get-go and it turned out great thanks, again, to many angels!  I checked out of the hospital with Hailey on Thursday around 4:30pm. It was so strange to get to take her with me. I made a little sign for her car seat to travel with so we could try to stay healthy on the trip :-) By the time I had packed and cleaned and figured out how to give Hailey her new medicines (she has 10 now that we give 8 times a day between various dosing schedules) I had about 40 minutes to sleep before my 3:20am shuttle pickup.  I started wheeling my bags and Hailey and the oxygen downstairs. Day 24 Headed Home

Yay!!! We get to leave for home today!! We are all going to drive together.  The last few weeks have been so full of miracles and we are so happy to be together!! I can't believe we get to go home together!!! I wanted to post some pictures of Hailey leaving the hospital. It was so cute. Hailey was holding the string of a balloon the girls gave her and she wasn't letting go for anything!!
