A day in Hailey's life

So thankful for these wonders of modern medicine that keep our sweet Hailey alive. 

1 week's worth of Hailey's medications
14 syringes a day, given at 8am, 2pm, 8pm, and 2am. 
2-6 breathing treatments per day. 

Hoping that after next surgery she will not have to have so much. Luckily it goes through the tube in her nose so she doesn't have to taste it. 

Just had to document it so that someday when I look back with her, we can show her how far she has come!!

She is still doing well. We are so glad to be home!

Born 2:29 pm. 7 lb 10 oz   It was a very long day. We actually thought we were going to have a C-SECTION. I was on the operating table and they gave us one more chance and she finally came. She is doing well for now. More to come.

Home Sweet Home!!!

We made it! I feel so happy to be home! I have loved the nice weather in California so I wondered if I would feel happy when I saw the snow, but at the first glimpse of the snowy mountains flying into Utah I wanted to cry for joy!   It was, of course, an adventure getting home, but I decided to pack my sense of humor from the get-go and it turned out great thanks, again, to many angels!  I checked out of the hospital with Hailey on Thursday around 4:30pm. It was so strange to get to take her with me. I made a little sign for her car seat to travel with so we could try to stay healthy on the trip :-) By the time I had packed and cleaned and figured out how to give Hailey her new medicines (she has 10 now that we give 8 times a day between various dosing schedules) I had about 40 minutes to sleep before my 3:20am shuttle pickup.  I started wheeling my bags and Hailey and the oxygen downstairs. Day 24 Headed Home

Yay!!! We get to leave for home today!! We are all going to drive together.  The last few weeks have been so full of miracles and we are so happy to be together!! I can't believe we get to go home together!!! I wanted to post some pictures of Hailey leaving the hospital. It was so cute. Hailey was holding the string of a balloon the girls gave her and she wasn't letting go for anything!!
