Day 5

Well, we are still in the hospital in Boise. Ben had to go back to work so the kids stayed in Boise with me. We did a little Birthday celebration for Katelyn yesterday. Her Birthday is this week and I am guessing Ben will miss it, so we did a party yesterday while he was still here. 

The pulmonologist came to look at Hailey today. They are trying to figure out how much chronic lung disease she has and how much that is contributing to her current condition. He concluded that we shouldn't change anything major at the moment but suggested that we get a CT scan of her chest when she is healthy to have a baseline of her normal lung condition. 

Everyone has done a lot to help us out this last week and of course we really appreciate that. 

It sounds like they would like her to be a bit better before they send her home. It is hard to be patient with the constant need to be in the hospital but having so much help and support makes it easier. Thank you for your continued prayers!
