Day 75

Hailey is still doing well. She is struggling a bit with withdrawals still, so they may not discharge her until Wednesday or Thursday, but we will see. Now they are saying Dr. Hanley won't have room in his schedule until October! I am beyond frustrated! From a medical standpoint she is cleared to have it at the end of July, but now it is a scheduling issue. Anyway, we will see what happens.

 Ben and the girls are headed down this weekend. I am SO EXCITED to see them!! I can't wait!! It feels like it has been forever! 

We are hoping to all be in Idaho together before too much longer. Love you all! Thanks for your prayers!

    Hailey is looking good! I can imagine how frustrating it must be. I hope that they can get her in sooner.

Born 2:29 pm. 7 lb 10 oz   It was a very long day. We actually thought we were going to have a C-SECTION. I was on the operating table and they gave us one more chance and she finally came. She is doing well for now. More to come.

Home Sweet Home!!!

We made it! I feel so happy to be home! I have loved the nice weather in California so I wondered if I would feel happy when I saw the snow, but at the first glimpse of the snowy mountains flying into Utah I wanted to cry for joy!   It was, of course, an adventure getting home, but I decided to pack my sense of humor from the get-go and it turned out great thanks, again, to many angels!  I checked out of the hospital with Hailey on Thursday around 4:30pm. It was so strange to get to take her with me. I made a little sign for her car seat to travel with so we could try to stay healthy on the trip :-) By the time I had packed and cleaned and figured out how to give Hailey her new medicines (she has 10 now that we give 8 times a day between various dosing schedules) I had about 40 minutes to sleep before my 3:20am shuttle pickup.  I started wheeling my bags and Hailey and the oxygen downstairs. Day 24 Headed Home

Yay!!! We get to leave for home today!! We are all going to drive together.  The last few weeks have been so full of miracles and we are so happy to be together!! I can't believe we get to go home together!!! I wanted to post some pictures of Hailey leaving the hospital. It was so cute. Hailey was holding the string of a balloon the girls gave her and she wasn't letting go for anything!!
