Update
The cath went really well. It was mostly good news! Her BT shunt is open, which is a huge relief because that is how she gets blood to her lungs.
Another piece of great news! Her pressures were at 20! They have to be under 25 to have a complete repair. We are thrilled to hear that. There was no guarantee that she would ever get low enough.
Prior to doing the cath they told me there was a chance her heart could stop and she could need CPR again. They explained that they had tried to repair the vessels in her neck from the last time she was on ECMO (life support). However, if they had to try to use them for ECMO again they weren't sure it would work at all, which means there would be nothing they could do for her at all. I cried when they told me. It was scary to think of not having that safety net.
It was absolutely a miracle that the cath looks so good and went so well. I feel so grateful for the tender mercies of our Heavenly Father.
We still don't know why she is struggling so much but it sounds like she is struggling with her lungs. We certainly aren't out of the woods yet, but she is breathing more comfortably on the ventilator (breathing tube). It is a huge step backward, but at least she is still here. She also had to go back onto a bunch of IV meds.
They are planning to fly us to Stanford on Wednesday. They feel safer flying her while she has a breathing tube. We won't know what day we are going until tomorrow.

I am so glad to hear some good news! We will continue to keep Hailey in our thought and prayers! We were hoping to head to SLC to come see you this weekend, but sounds like you will be in California, which is best! If there is anything we can do for your family, please let us know!
